About the picture

This image of Jog Falls in all her glory was taken in 2005 just after the monsoon. That was the year of a very good monsoon and all 4 segments of the falls–namely Raja, Rani, Roarer, and Rocket–were at full capacity, making it a visual natural spectacle. I have never seen Jog Falls like this, since.

Fun Fact

Jog Falls is the third-highest waterfall in India after the Nohkalikai Falls in Meghalaya and Dudhsagar Falls in Goa.
