This image was taken in April 2008 in Ranthambore National Park. This gorgeous tigress was resting in front of the lake in the morning. Once the sun was up, she got up and made her way to the ruins of the old mosque. This image was captured when she was posing majestically amidst golden grass with the ruins in the background.

While tigers may occasionally congregate, they usually live solitary lives.
