About the picture
This photograph of a sub-adult tiger cub was taken in Ranthambhore National Park in 2017. The cub was marching through the forest with its mother and two siblings. The deer and langurs in the area were alarmed by the cubs' presence and were making alarm calls. This curious cub stood on a rock to see what the commotion was all about, just as the sun broke through the clouds and shone on the cub.
