One of the most remarkable features of tigers is their exceptional strength and agility. They can leap up to 15 feet in a single bound and can run at speeds of up to 35-40 miles per hour for short distances. Their muscular build and powerful limbs aid in their hunting and territorial defense.

About the picture

This male tiger was photographed in Ranthambhore National Park in 2017. Since he was walking towards one of the many lakes that dot the national park, I wanted a picture that had him and the lake. With this in mind, we moved our jeep to a slightly elevated place and waited for him to walk into my frame. This picture shows the beautiful landscape of Ranthambhore.
