About the picture

This photo of tigers mating was photographed in Ranthambhore National Park in March 2021. Typically, during courtship, tigers will stay in the same area for 3-4 days. When we heard about this mating pair from the forest guards, we went looking for them. The search took a while, and we succeeded in sighting the two tigers sleeping on a rock. Wildlife photography is all about patience. good wait of over an hour led to us being able to witness some amazing natural behaviour of tigers. The female made several circles around the male, which prompted him to mate with her. They mated a couple of times and then went and sat in the water.
