About the picture
This image was taken in Ranthambhore National Park in June 2014. The tigress Krishna (T19) had littered, and she was taking her cubs for a stroll in her favourite section of her territory–the bridge on the lake. Tigresses do walk long distances within their territory guarding it and protecting the cubs from male tigers.
