About the picture

This image of a friendly joust between two cubs was captured in Tadoba National Park during June 2018. These were Maya's cubs, playing joyfully when their mother was resting about 10 metres away. It was an absolute joy to see these cuties playing around.

Domestic cats share about 95.6% of their DNA with tigers, from which they diverged on the evolutionary tree approximately 10.8 million years ago.
