When threatened, they may strike, but they are generally not aggressive unless provoked. About the picture

These vipers are relatively small, with an average length of around 60 to 80 centimeters (about 24 to 31 inches). They have a slender body and a distinctive triangular-shaped head. One of their most notable features is the presence of modified scales above their eyes, which resemble eyelashes. These "eyelashes" are believed to aid in camouflage and in breaking up the outline of their head. Eyelash Vipers exhibit a wide range of color variations, including green, yellow, brown, or even pink. This coloration helps them blend into their forested habitats. They are typically arboreal, spending much of their time in trees and bushes.
