Unlike the other big cats, the Cheetah prefers to hunt during the day, especially at dawn and right before dusk.

This image of a running Cheetah was taken in Masai Mara in 2022. This Cheetah was younger and was being chased out by another more dominant Cheetah. You can see a tinge of uncertainty, and possibly fear, on the Cheetah’s face.
