About the picture
This photo of a Serval was photographed in Amboseli in 2015. The Serval was out looking for prey and upon seeing us, stopped for a moment to meet our gaze head on. After a few seconds, the Serval decided that we were harmless and decided to go on its way.
Fun Fact
The domestic breed of cat known as the Savannah Cat is a hybrid between a male Serval and a female domestic cat. It was first bred in 1986 and is a popular breed in some countries.
